Agricultural
AWT has been serving the nation’s livestock industry for over 25 years with a staff totaling over 75 years combined experience. AWT provides engineering and consulting services, with extensive expertise in manure management. AWT’s full-time staff consists of engineers, agronomists, certified crop advisers, licensed soil scientists, certified irrigation designers and GIS/GPS mapping specialists.
Comprehensive Nutrient Management Plans (CAP-CNMP)
AWT has both professional engineers and agronomists who are certified as Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Technical Service Providers (TSPs). One of the primary areas of assistance that AWT provides to livestock facilities is the development of Comprehensive Nutrient Management Plans. These plans are typically necessary prior to farms receiving EQIP funds. These plans can also help the farm meet permitting objectives through State regulatory offices.
AWT has assisted facilities through contracts with USDA/NRCS in a number of states including: Maryland, Virginia, South Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, Ohio, Arizona and Colorado.
AWT also works directly with livestock producers. We currently develop CAP-CNMPs in North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Alabama and Ohio.
Other Professional Services
AWT also has specialized experience and technical expertise in manure nutrient management, manure storage design, irrigation and disposal systems, compliance inspections and audits, permitting, and training services.
