Comprehensive Nutrient Management Plans (CAP-CNMP)

One of the primary areas of assistance that AWT provides to livestock facilities is the development of Comprehensive Nutrient Management Plans (CNMPs). These plans are necessary prior to livestock farms receiving EQIP funds. CNMPs can also help the farm meet permitting objectives through State regulatory offices.

AWT has assisted facilities through contracts with USDA/NRCS in a number of states including: Maryland, Virginia, South Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, Ohio, Arizona and Colorado.

AWT also works directly with livestock producers. We are certified to develop CAP-CNMPs in North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Alabama and Ohio.

Call Adam Gaines at 919-367-6323 to discuss your CNMP needs.

Agricultural Energy Management Plans (CAP-AEMP)

Energy ProductionAWT is currently certified to write Agricultural Energy Management Plans (AEMPs).  AEMPs include a detailed evaluation of the electricity and fuel consumption on the form and provide recommendations on methods to increase energy efficiency. These plans are necessary prior to farms receiving cost share assistance to install energy saving measures.

Agricultural Stormwater Plans

Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs) are required in order to construct or expand livestock facilities.  SWPPPs consist of grading plans, stormwater BMPs including sediment and erosion control plans and specifications detailing construction and maintenance procedures.  AWT has been developing SWPPPs for livestock facilities nationwide since 1984.

Call Adam Gaines at 919-367-6323 to discuss your CNMP, IWMP, AEMP or stormwater plan needs.
