Chloe Lum

Chloe joined AWT in January 2023 as a Carbon intern. They became a full-time staff member in June 2025 after graduating from North Carolina State University with a B.S. in Biological & Agricultural Engineering concentrating in Bioprocessing with a minor in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Chloe is a lead verifier and team member of the Carbon Sector which provides verification services under many registries including the California Air Resources Board, Climate Action Reserve, ACR, and CARB’s LCFS program.

Chloe was drawn to the Carbon team at AWT due to a passion for environmental protection and climate crisis work. They have experience in research related to biomethane utilization, carbon sequestration, and anerobic digestion which has helped defined their role at AWT. Chloe is working to earn their Professional Engineering License.

A native to North Carolina, Chloe grew up in Hickory and moved to the Raleigh area in 2020. Outside of work, Chloe enjoys playing rugby, line dancing, painting, and spending time with her two cats.
