Brynna Laughter

Brynna Laughter joined AWT as an intern in March 2024 while completing her B.S. in Biological and Agricultural Engineering Technology. Following her graduation from NC State University in May 2025, she joined AWT full time as an Agricultural Specialist. Having spent previous summers interning at her hometown Cooperative Extension office, Brynna knew AWT was the perfect fit, combining her passion for farmer outreach with her interest in agricultural technology.

Originally from Edneyville, North Carolina, Brynna comes from a multigenerational family farm specializing in Asian pears and apples. Her deep roots in Western North Carolina have inspired her strong dedication to improving the lives of fellow farmers through education, outreach, and innovative agricultural solutions.

As a member of the Agriculture team, Brynna works to develop Agricultural Energy Assessments and Designs as well as Comprehensive Nutrient Management Plans, helping producers operate more efficiently and sustainably. She recently completed the North Carolina Nutrient Management training and is working toward becoming a North Carolina Technical Specialist.

Outside of work, Brynna enjoys spending time outdoors appreciating God’s beautiful creation and cherishing quality time with her close family and friends.
