Kristen Hall

Kristen started interning with AWT in September of 2024. When she graduated from North Carolina State University with a B.S. in Biological & Agricultural Engineering concentrating in Bioprocessing in May 2025, she transitioned to a full-time position. While in school, she engaged in biochar-based composting undergraduate research and constructed an automatic continuous anaerobic digester for lab-scale biomethane potential assessments for her senior capstone project.

As a member of the Carbon team, she works to verify carbon credit projects which entail data analysis and aggregation. Kristen has experience with Carbon Offset projects under the California Air Resources Board Cap and Trade, Climate Action Reserve, American Carbon Registry and CARB’s LCFS program. Kristen also strives to earn her Professional Engineering license in 2029 after gaining her years of experience.

Her passions include waste-to-product technologies, carbon sequestration, and green initiatives. She enjoys tennis, skiing, drawing/crafting, and tending to her plants.
