Scott Jones

PE

Scott Jones joined the AWT team in May of 2012. He is a Senior Project Engineer as well as our Project Manager at AWT and responsible for leading the system design team.  Scott is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of North Carolina.  He also holds certifications as Stormwater BMP Inspection & Maintenance as well as SCM (Stormwater Control Measure) Construction Inspection from North Carolina State University. Scott’s responsibilities include stormwater design, stormwater BMP inspections, sediment and erosion control design, design of grading plans, design and specifications for commercial and residential septic systems, sewer design, permitting, Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (Phase I ESA), and Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA).  Scott is also certified for the NCDOT Level III: Design of Erosion and Sediment Control Plans.

Scott received his B.S. in Environmental Engineering from North Carolina State University in 2009 and his Masters of Biological & Agricultural Engineering (M.B.A.E.) from N.C. State in 2013.  In his free time he enjoys outdoor activities such as snowboarding and whitewater kayaking as well as playing with his dogs Bandit, Daisy, and Layla.
