AWT offers a large range of design and construction services. Our talented engineers can design a waste utilization system from start-to-finish or simply upgrade or change an existing system.
AWT’s staff uses tools, such as soil suitability tests and irrigation system designs, to create the most cost-effective and environmentally acceptable waste management systems for our clients. In addition to design, AWT also offers the following services:
- Construction Specifications
- EPA Notice of Intent Forms
- Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP)
- Waste Management System Certifications
- Innovative Waste Management Alternatives
- Third Party Evaluations
AWT utilizes Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology in conjunction with Global Positioning Systems (GPS) to enhance work products. Digital cartography is integrated into reports and projects to provide accurate and informative visual illustrations.
The USDA-NRCS, the EPA, and other federal and state agencies are more commonly making use of this technology and providing data for digital cartography. By having an understanding of GIS and GPS, AWT can take advantage of those resources being provided.
Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs) are required in order to construct or expand livestock facilities. SWPPPs consist of grading plans, stormwater BMPs including sediment and erosion control plans and specifications detailing construction and maintenance procedures. AWT has been developing SWPPPs for livestock facilities nationwide since the mid 1980s.
